Sharing the information from Dr. J with his formula Quantity, Quality, and Balance in Everything.

According to Dr. J, to have a beautiful and slender body, you need to burn all carbohydrates, fat, and proteins that you consume every day. This can be achieved by turning your body into a fat-burning machine – fire up your metabolic rate. Dr. J shares his secret on how to burn fat (cara membakar lemak).

Medically speaking, the body needs to adapt the fats so that it burns 60-65% of those fats and 35-40% of the carbohydrates in a state of rest (RMR: Resting Metabolic Rate). Fat adaptation of the body needs to be through proper diet, correct exercise, and good rest. The other term for burning fat is termed as fat oxidation.

Strict Dieting

Strict dieting means tweaking your diet – eating more good fats and proteins that your body needs and fewer carbohydrates. Try to adhere to a strict diet. Ensure that you reduce the intake of carbohydrates.

Eat More Fat to Lose Fat

In order to train your body into a fat-burning machine is to teach your body to burn fat for fuel instead of sugar. When your body is fat-adapted, then you will stay thin effortlessly. You also get hungry less often, get to stay satiated longer, and still have plenty of energy. Even for the rare times when your body consumes excess carbs, the body is able to efficiently handle and resist the storing fat.

To get fat-adapted limit the intake of white sugar and carbs in your diet and increase the intake of healthy fats and proteins.

However, do not start loading up with the good fat for every meal and snacks because it will backfire on your – you might be in worse shape than you previously were.

Stay Off Processed Foods

Stay off the packaged or processed foods because they contain high amounts of salt and saturated transfats. In addition to that, it also contains sugar. Having saturated fats and trans fats in your daily diet is not good. To simplify the term, if the sugar and carbs stay low, then the insulin stays low – no fat storage in the body for most people. If there is no sugar in the body, then the fat gets burned in its place. In this manner, your body becomes “fat-adapted”.

Where to find healthy fats?

You get them from eggs, nuts (macadamia, hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, and pecans), seeds, coconut and coconut oil, avocado, olives & olive oils, lean meat, omega-3-rich fishes like salmon, mackerel, herring, sardines, and trout. These are the foods you need to regularly include in your meals. However, do not forget to add fruits and vegetables – they should be the centerpieces of your daily meals, snacks, and drinks.

As tempting as they are, you need to stay away from ice creams, smoothies, white bread, doughnuts, and alcohol. Just to add, consuming healthy fats and healthy food in large quantities does not guarantee or make you lose weight. Only consume what you need – not more nor less.

So, how about it, is this doable? What are your methods on how to burn fat (cara membakar lemak)?
