Food Photography!

As soon as I started to contemplate launching this little blog, I was immediately presented with a rather large problem: photography. It’s been said that we eat with our eyes first. So I need to post yummy photos to go with my yummy recipes.

cameraAnd here’s where the problem comes in…. I have zero photography skills. Zero.

Enter my photographer friend Jackie Milner. (She’s the same one who took my bio photo on the upper right of my website! Check out her portfolio here.) Jackie graciously offered to come to my house and teach me about food photography and how to use my camera. (Happy dance! Happy dance!)

So here’s what I’m doing today: Furiously cooking, plating, primping, garnishing. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Oh yeah- and shoot, shoot, shoot! Photos, photos, photos! I can’t wait to see what Jackie has to teach me.

I think everything posted was very reasonable.

But, think about this, what if you wrote
a catchier post title? I am not saying your content is not good., however what if
you added a post title that makes people want more?

I mean Food Photography! | The Organized Pantry is kinda plain. You could peek at Yahoo’s front page and watch how
they create post headlines to grab viewers interested. You might add a video or a related
picture or two to get readers excited about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it could make
    your posts a little livelier.
