Do you want to improve your eating habits but struggle due to working nights?
Do all of your good habits disappear at 3 a.m. when you’re hungry and tired?
Then this book is for you!
What’s in the book:
This 22 page e-book guide is straightforward and simple. It is full of realistic and helpful suggestions to help you easily adopt clean eating while working nights:
- identify the challenges to clean eating at night- AND learn how to solve them!
- learn small tweaks to your habits for big impact
- get advice from other night workers who have succeeded
you know the challenges:
Working night shifts can have a bit of a zombie effect and can disconnect us from the reality of our food choices. And then there’s the erratic schedule of rotating shifts that can destroy the natural rhythm of meal times.
If you don’t have healthy snacks prepared, it’s too easy to start grazing on muffins, donuts or the pizza your coworkers are sharing. And then there’s the caffeine, energy drinks, candy, and sugary treats to provide an instant pick-me-up.
Let’s not forget one the biggest challenges for night workers trying to embrace clean eating: vending machines and fast food is pretty much the only game in town at 2 a.m.!
What readers are saying:
I need to make these healthy changes and these tips are wonderful. Thank you :)
Tomorrow night, armed with your helpful hints, I’ll be making sure I stay on track.
Thanks for sharing
my experience on night shift:
If you’re like me, you might play little games with yourself in order to justify over-indulging in foods that ultimately aren’t great choices. Something along the lines of “Well, I’m eating it at 1 a.m. so it doesn’t count.”
I worked 12 hour rotating shifts at a hospital for a stretch and it most certainly did not agree with my health! I developed my very worst eating habits during this time- but now I know how to do better and I’m eager to share my knowledge with you.
WHY DID I WRITE THIS BOOK?
My blog’s most popular post by far (besides this one) is “How to Eat Clean on the Night Shift.” It has an overwhelming amount of visitors even though I didn’t do any advertising of any kind.
Clearly there is a need for more info on this topic. So I set out to create a practical guide on how to easily eat clean on the night shift for the long term. The result is a simple, straightforward book that will will help you get started (and keep up!) clean eating.
